At the DCR we work to improve the lives of patients including cancer patients. With this ride we want to contribute to cancer research and to support optimal and individualized treatments for cancer patients.
Every year, 45,500 people in Switzerland are diagnosed with cancer. This turns their entire lives upside down. Our cancer organizations ensure that those affected and their environment are not left alone. In order to provide the necessary support, they depend on donations. The Race for Life collects donations for this important cause. The focus is on the joy of life - which those affected get back to some extent through the support.
